VIDEO: Yankees' Greg Bird records 1st big-league hit

New York Yankees rookie Greg Bird notched his first major-league knock against a pitcher who was drafted before he was born.
In his second start with the big club, the 22-year-old Bird collected a two-out single off Toronto Blue Jays reliever LaTroy Hawkins in the eighth inning.

Hawkins was drafted in 1991, more than a year before Bird was born in 1992, according to ESPN.
