DFS: Week 4 Wide Receiver Value Rankings
Here's a look at theScore's wide receiver value rankings for Week 4 (Thursday night and Sunday morning games excluded):
Value Rankings
QB | RB | WR | TE
Top 5
# | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Julio Jones (ATL) | vs. HOU | Low |
2 | Randall Cobb (GB) | at SF | Low |
3 | Odell Beckham Jr. (NYG) | at BUF | Low |
4 | A.J. Green (CIN) | vs. KC | Low |
5 | Amari Cooper (OAK) | at CHI | Low |
With Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown playing Thursday night - and having Michael Vick as his quarterback - Jones is the unquestioned No. 1 receiver for Week 4's main slate. He's got an excellent matchup at home, as does A.J. Green. Cooper moves into the top-five receivers after he posted the fourth-highest yardage total for a rookie's first three games.

Next 5
# | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
6 | Keenan Allen (SD) | vs. CLE | Low |
7 | Demaryius Thomas (DEN) | vs. MIN | Low |
8 | T.Y. Hilton (IND) | vs. JAX | Low |
9 | Emmanuel Sanders (DEN) | vs. MIN | Low |
10 | Larry Fitzgerald (ARI) | vs. STL | Low |
Allen will continue to be the top target for QB Philip Rivers, and they'll have an excellent matchup for their return to the West Coast. Thomas and Sanders have proven in back-to-back weeks that they're both still capable of reaching value. Larry Fitzgerald would be higher on this list if it weren't for the threat of John Brown stealing targets.

Best of the Rest
# | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
11 | DeAndre Hopkins (HOU) | at ATL | Medium |
12 | Jordan Matthews (PHI) | at WAS | Medium |
13 | Mike Evans (TB) | at HOU | Medium |
14 | Allen Robinson (JAX) | at IND | Medium |
15 | Pierre Garcon (WAS) | vs. PHI | Medium |
16 | Brandin Cooks (NO) | vs. DAL | Medium |
17 | Alshon Jeffery (CHI) | vs. OAK | Medium |
18 | Stevie Johnson (SD) | vs. CLE | Medium |
19 | Donte Moncrief (DAL) | vs. JAX | Medium |
20 | John Brown (ARI) | vs. STL | Medium |
21 | Kenny Britt (STL) | at ARI | Medium |
22 | Terrance Williams (DAL) | at NO | Medium |
23 | James Jones (GB) | @ SF | Medium |
24 | Sammy Watkins (BUF) | vs. NYG | Medium |
25 | Travis Benjamin (CLE) | at SD | Medium |
Even with Jimmy Clausen as his quarterback, Jeffery will be in line for plenty of work as long as he's able to suit up this week. Hopkins and Matthews are the safest options of this group, but they'll be dealing with tough matchups and/or poor quarterback play. Allen Robinson had another frustrating week, but he should bounce back against the flimsy Colts defense.

Nothing to See Here

31 | Tyler Lockett (SEA) | vs. Lions | High |
32 | Leonard Hankerson (ATL) | vs. HOU | High |
33 | Torrey Smith (SF) | vs. GB | High |
34 | Marques Colston (NO) | vs. DAL | High |
35 | Cole Beasley (DAL) | at NO | High |
36 | Davante Adams (GB) | at SF | High |
37 | Michael Crabtree (OAK) | at CHI | High |
38 | Percy Harvin (BUF) | vs. NYG | High |
39 | Allen Hurns (JAX) | at IND | High |
40 | Vincent Jackson (TB) | vs. CAR | High |
In Week 3 Lockett's only fantasy production was a kick return touchdown, but he was targeted in the back of the end zone in the second half. There's little doubt he's the Seahawks' most talented wide receiver, and he's worth a shot every week in the hope that he's finally given the role he deserves.
