Here are theScore's wide receiver value rankings for Week 7 (Thursday night and Sunday morning games excluded):
Value Rankings
QB | RB | WR | TE
Top 5
# | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Larry Fitzgerald (ARI) | vs. BAL | Low |
2 | DeAndre Hopkins (HOU) | at MIA | Low |
3 | Calvin Johnson (DET) | vs. MIN | Low |
4 | Brandon Marshall (NYJ) | at NE | Low |
5 | Odell Beckham Jr. (NYG) | vs. DAL | Low |
Fitzgerald has a plum matchup in Week 7, facing a Ravens secondary that has been thoroughly whipped while facing only one top-10 quarterback all season. Johnson and Marshall carry big price tags, but have really high floors. Beckham played 66 of 68 snaps in the Monday nighter, but saw just one target in the second half; that will change against Dallas.

Next 5
# | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
6 | Julio Jones (ATL) | at TEN | Low |
7 | Dez Bryant (DAL) | at NYG | Low |
8 | Keenan Allen (SD) | vs. OAK | Low |
9 | Antonio Brown (PIT) | at KC | Low |
10 | Steve Smith Sr. (BAL) | at ARI | Low |
With all the noise surrounding Bryant's possible return, he's in the mix as a high-floor option and the savior of the Cowboys' floundering offense. Brown isn't quite back in "must-play" territory, but should see better passes from Landry Jones than he did from Mike Vick. Smith has one of the toughest matchups he'll face all season, but he should still get his.

Best of the Rest
# | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
11 | John Brown (ARI) | vs. BAL | Medium |
12 | Jarvis Landry (MIA) | vs. HOU | Medium |
13 | Jeremy Maclin (KC) | vs. PIT | Medium |
14 | Julian Edelman (NE) | vs. NYJ | Medium |
15 | T.Y. Hilton (IND) | vs. NO | Medium |
16 | Brandin Cooks (NO) | at IND | Medium |
17 | Martavis Bryant (PIT) | at KC | Medium |
18 | Rueben Randle (NYG) | vs. DAL | Medium |
19 | Amari Cooper (OAK) | at SD | Medium |
20 | Kendall Wright (TEN) | vs. ATL | Medium |
21 | Jamison Crowder (WAS) | vs. TB | Medium |
22 | Cecil Shorts III (HOU) | at MIA | Medium |
23 | Donte Moncrief (IND) | vs. NO | Medium |
24 | Travis Benjamin (CLE) | at STL | Medium |
25 | Jordan Matthews (PHI) | at CAR | Medium |
Brown has a sky-high ceiling in his Week 7 matchup, and should have a solid showing regardless of how often teammate Fitzgerald is targeted. Edelman isn't a strong play for his price point against an imposing Jets secondary, while Bryant is a boom-or-bust option as the Steelers take on the Chiefs. Benjamin will rack up targets, but will have to work for yards in St. Louis.

30 | Golden Tate (DET) | vs. MIN | High |
31 | Michael Crabtree (OAK) | at SD | High |
32 | Stefon Diggs (MIN) | at DET | High |
33 | Willie Snead (NO) | at IND | High |
34 | Lance Moore (DET) | vs. MIN | High |
35 | Ted Ginn Jr. (CAR) | vs. PHI | High |
36 | Leonard Hankerson (ATL) | at TEN | High |
37 | Rishard Matthews (MIA) | vs. HOU | High |
38 | Roddy White (ATL) | at TEN | High |
39 | Malcom Floyd (SD) | vs. OAK | High |
40 | Andre Johnson (IND) | vs. NO | High |
Jackson and Evans are good receivers, but they're hard to trust with Jameis Winston still learning the ropes. Crabtree could be a sneaky value play if the Raiders-Chargers game turns into a shootout; the same can be said for Snead, who remains one of Drew Brees' trusted receiving options. White and Johnson have some big games left in their careers, but not this week.
