DFS: Counterattack - Week 9's Best Contrarian Plays
Here's a look at this week's top contrarian plays:

QB Derek Carr, Raiders (at Steelers)
All aboard the Carr hype train. Again.
After decimating the elite defense that is the New York Jets last week, Carr has returned to the media (and fantasy spotlight).
The sophomore QB has quietly amassed a 1,793/15/3 stat line, something that can't be ignored. His cheap price tag makes him worth snagging in Week 9 against a questionable Pittsburgh Steelers pass defense.

WR Randall Cobb, Packers (at Panthers)
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers threw for an atrocious 77 yards last Sunday, and will be in tough in Week 9 against the Panthers' top-5 pass defense.
Rodgers' success this week will be tied heavily to Cobb, who has struggled with star WR Jordy Nelson out for the season. The two times Cobb has faced Carolina, he has racked up 146 yards and a touchdown - and he'll likely avoid top coverage man Josh Norman this week. Fire Cobb up in PPR leagues as a low-ownership/low-cost WR.

TE Heath Miller, Steelers (vs. Raiders)
With RB Le'Veon Bell out for the season, Miller's value increases.
The veteran tight end put together a productive Week 8, with 10 catches on 13 targets for 105 yards - all team highs. Miller's cheap price tag is extremely tough to pass up with QB Ben Roethlisberger shaking off the rust ahead of an encounter with a weak Oakland secondary.
