DFS: Thursday's Center Value Rankings
Here are theScore's center value rankings for Thursday, November 5:
Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C
| # | Name | Opponent | Rank |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN) | vs. MIA | Low |
| 2 | Rudy Gobert (UTA) | at DEN | Low |
| 3 | Hassan Whiteside (MIA) | at MIN | Low |
Towns and Whiteside match up against each other in a battle of the boards. Whiteside is averaging 11 RPG to Towns' 10.3. This game bodes well for both youngsters, and supplies a lot of fantasy upside. Gobert averages a paltry 7.7 PPG, but makes up for it with 13.3 RPG and an astonishing 3.7 BPG. All three of these players come at low price tags and are a lock for positive production.
| # | Name | Opponent | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | Zaza Pachulia (DAL) | vs. CHA | Medium |
| 5 | Al Jefferson (CHA) | at DAL | Medium |
| 6 | Marc Gasol (MEM) | at POR | Medium |
| 7 | Enes Kanter (OKC) | at CHI | Medium |
| 8 | Mason Plumlee (POR) | vs. MEM | Medium |
| 9 | Nikola Jokic (DEN) | vs. UTA | High |
| 10 | Joakim Noah (CHI) | vs. OKC | High |
Jefferson and Gasol are consistent fantasy producers, and DFSers know the type of fantasy points to expect. Kanter receives more minutes than Thunder starter C Steven Adams, providing a lot of value. Noah and Jokic are unreliable and at the very least should be used to fill-in a lineup spot.
