DFS: Friday's Point Guard Value Rankings
Here are theScore's point guard value rankings for Friday, November 6:
Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C
| # | Name | Opponent | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Stephen Curry (GS) | vs. DEN | Low |
| 2 | Reggie Jackson (DET) | at PHX | Low |
| 3 | Kyle Lowry (TOR) | at ORL | Low |
| 4 | Jeff Teague (ATL) | at NO | Low |
| 5 | John Wall (WAS) | at BOS | Low |
| 6 | Eric Bledsoe (PHX) | vs. DET | Low |
| 7 | George Hill (IND) | vs. MIA | Low |
| 8 | Isaiah Thomas (BOS) | vs. WAS | Low |
Chef Curry is the best option when choosing how to start a lineup. He is on an absurd hot streak and outscored the Pelicans 28-26 by himself in the third quarter on Nov. 1. He should be played in all cash game lineups.
Wall is the second highest-priced PG on this slate, just behind Curry, and has dominated the box score - recording two double-doubles throughout the first four games in the Wizards' new offense. The other options listed are cheaper and just as likely to record similar fantasy points to Wall.
| # | Name | Opponent | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| 9 | Goran Dragic (MIA) | at IND | Medium |
| 10 | Michael Carter-Williams (MIL) | at NY | Medium |
| 11 | Mo Williams (CLE) | vs. PHI | Medium |
| 12 | Ty Lawson (HOU) | at SAC | Medium |
| 13 | Jordan Clarkson (LAL) | at BKN | Medium |
| 14 | Jarett Jack (BKN) | vs. LAL | Medium |
| 15 | Rajon Rondo (SAC) | at HOU | Medium |
| 16 | Marcus Smart (BOS) | vs. WAS | Medium |
| 17 | Jrue Holiday (NO) | vs. ATL | Medium |
| 18 | Darren Collison (SAC) | vs. HOU | Medium |
| 19 | Jerian Grant (NY) | vs. MIL | Medium |
| 20 | Toney Douglas (NO) | vs. ATL | Medium |
Lawson continues to encounter bumps in the road with the Rockets early this season, drawing him in as a medium risk. But his ceiling is high alongside SG James Harden, and his low price tag makes him worthy of a start.
Collison can start at SG and records enough minutes to be a low-owned fantasy PG with high-upside. The Lakers' Clarkson continues to prove his DFS worth as a scoring PG, but is far too inconsistent to be relied on every game.
| # | Name | Opponent | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| 21 | Emmanuel Mudiay (DEN) | at GS | High |
| 22 | Ish Smith (NO) | vs. ATL | High |
| 23 | Lou Williams (LAL) | at BKN | High |
| 24 | Isaiah Canaan (PHI) | at CLE | High |
| 25 | D'Angelo Russell (LAL) | at BKN | High |
Williams comes off the bench for Los Angeles, putting a damper on his fantasy value. Mudiay has lived up to expectations thus far, but walks into Golden State to face the unstoppable Warriors and their stout defense. The other players at high risk should be afterthoughts.
