DFS: Friday's Shooting Guard Value Rankings
Here are theScore's shooting guard value rankings for Friday, November 6:
Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C
| # | Name | Opponent | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Bradley Beal (WAS) | at BOS | Low |
| 2 | Victor Oladipo (ORL) | vs. TOR | Low |
| 3 | James Harden (HOU) | at SAC | Low |
| 4 | Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (DET) | at PHX | Low |
| 5 | DeMar DeRozan (TOR) | at ORL | Low |
Like PG John Wall, Beal is benefiting from the new up-tempo offense coach Randy Wittman has installed for the Wizards. Beal faces a Celtics team struggling on the defensive side of the ball, and is a sure-thing compared to others in this ranking.
Oladipo is cementing himself as an everyday DFS option at SG and continues to offer a low price tag. Caldwell-Pope's emergence looks to be for real, and he should become more expensive in the coming weeks - so fire him up while he returns great value at a low cost.
| # | Name | Opponent | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | Avery Bradley (BOS) | vs. WAS | Medium |
| 7 | Klay Thompson (GS) | vs. DEN | Medium |
| 8 | Brandon Knight (PHX) | vs. DET | Medium |
| 9 | Eric Gordon (NO) | vs. ATL | Medium |
| 10 | Monta Ellis (IND) | vs. MIA | Medium |
| 11 | Dwyane Wade (MIA) | at IND | Medium |
| 12 | Kent Bazemore (ATL) | at NO | Medium |
| 13 | Nik Stauskas (PHI) | at CLE | Medium |
| 14 | Langston Galloway (NY) | vs. MIL | Medium |
| 15 | Khris Middleton (MIL) | at NY | Medium |
Bradley is coming off a 21-point night against the Pacers, and is a great pick to counter the WIzards high-tempo offense. Expect him to record a pile of points Friday.
Bazemore hasn't seen his shots falling the way he would have liked to start the season, and facing a great defensive team in New Orleans. Galloway splits time with fellow SG Vujacic, but is ranked higher thanks to more DFS scoring opportunities.
| # | Name | Opponent | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| 16 | Kobe Bryant (LAL) | at BKN | High |
| 17 | Marcus Thompson (HOU) | at SAC | High |
| 18 | Sasha Vujacic (NY) | vs. MIL | High |
| 19 | Will Barton (DEN) | at GS | High |
| 20 | C.J. Miles (IND) | vs. MIA | High |
| 21 | Kyle Korver (ATL) | at NO | High |
| 22 | Rodney Stuckey (IND) | vs. MIA | High |
| 23 | Nick Young (LAL) | at BKN | High |
| 24 | Terrence Ross (TOR) | at ORL | High |
| 25 | Ben McLemore (SAC) | vs. HOU | High |
Bryant will take his fair share of shots in the Lakers' offense, giving him opportunities to supply DFSers with points. But age and inconsistency makes him too risky to trust at this point.
