DFS: Wednesday's Small Foward Value Rankings
Here are theScore's small forward value rankings for Wednesday, November 18:
Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C
Top Options
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Paul George (IND) | at PHI | 9 |
| Nicolas Batum (CHA) | vs. BKN | 9 |
| Kawhi Leonard (SA) | vs. DEN | 8 |
| Rudy Gay (SAC) | at ATL | 8 |
| Gordon Hayward (UTA) | vs. TOR | 7 |
With Kevin Durant on ice, George becomes the top option at SF for Wednesday night. The 76ers' defense ranks in the bottom-ten in points allowed and, though it will improve as the season progresses with a healthy Nerlens Noel anchoring the paint, it's simply too young and inconsistent to properly contain the 6-foot-9, smooth-shooting George.

Best of the Rest
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Al-Farouq Aminu (POR) | at HOU | 7 |
| Trevor Ariza (HOU) | vs. POR | 6 |
| Tobias Harris (ORL) | vs. MIN | 6 |
| C.J. Miles (IND) | at PHI | 6 |
| Jae Crowder (BOS) | vs. DAL | 6 |
| Evan Fournier (ORL) | vs. MIN | 5 |
| Marcus Thornton (HOU) | vs. POR | 5 |
| Omri Casspi (SAC) | at ATL | 5 |
Aminu and Ariza are poured from the same mold: 6-foot-9, "3-and-D" small forwards working in the shadows of ball-dominant superstar guards. Where the two veterans differ is that Ariza's Rockets are in absolute shambles. With Houston unable to field a healthy frontcourt, Ariza has been forced to play out of position at power forward. For that reason, Aminu is the safer play.

Nothing to See Here
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Danilo Gallinari (DEN) | at SA | 4 |
| Joe Johnson (BKN) | at CHA | 4 |
| Chandler Parsons (DAL) | at BOS | 3 |
| Robert Covington (PHI) | vs. IND | 3 |
| Jerami Grant (PHI) | vs. IND | 2 |
| Thabo Sefolosha (ATL) | vs. SAC | 2 |
| Tony Snell (CHI) | at PHX | 2 |
| Luke Babbitt (NOP) | at OKC | 1 |
| DeMarre Carroll (TOR) | at UTA | 1 |
The four biggest names all have red flags attached their names. Gallinari goes up against Leonard and the second-ranked Spurs defense, Joe Johnson faces Batum on the second half of a back-to-back, Parsons has seen his minutes limited due to injuries, and Carroll gets the trifecta of injury concerns, the second game of a back-to-back and a brutal matchup in Utah.
