DFS: Dynamic Duos - Wednesday's Top Teammate Plays

Kim Klement / USA TODAY Sports

Here are the top teammate plays for Wednesday, December 2:

W Loui Eriksson & C David Kreijci, Bruins (at Oilers)

Krejci and Eriksson are first and third on the Bruins in scoring and have a great matchup Wednesday against the lowly Oilers.

Edmonton is 1-4 in its last five games while surrendering 14 goals over that span. Boston, on the other hand, is on a five-game winning streak scoring 17 goals over that stretch. Krejci and Eriksson have combined for ten points in those victories.

DFS players should exploit this matchup and look to Krejci and Eriksson as a reasonably priced stack.

C/W Ryan Strome & C Mikhail Grabovski, Islanders (vs. Rangers)

Strome and Grabovski will fly under the radar Wednesday as many DFS players would think to pair John Tavares and Kyle Okposo. Furthermore, a matchup against Henrik Lundqvist and the Rangers will cause some players to fade the Islanders entirely. But there is an argument to be made for the contrarian duo of Strome and Graboski.

In Strome's past three contests since being recalled from the AHL, he has hit the score sheet in every one, picking up four points. Grabovski hasn't been quite as hot with three points in his past five games, but if Strome can lead the charge, expect Grabovski to pick up a goal or assist.

Finally, Lundqvist has been awful of late, giving up 12 goals in his past three starts. While it is only a short stretch, DFS players should stack Strome and Grabovski in the hope that Lundqvist's poor form continues. In the worst case scenario where Strome and Grabovski fail to perform, their combined salary won't devastate your lineup.

C Steven Stamkos & W Alex Killorn, Lightning (at Ducks)

It's been a mediocre season for a player of Stamkos' caliber. With 19 points in 25 games, Stamkos isn't producing at the rate many expect. But he erupted for two goals and an assist in a 5-0 win the last time the Lightning faced the Ducks back on Nov. 21.

With that performance, Stamkos' career numbers against the Ducks stand at 12 points in seven games. That 1.71 points per game average is his best against any opponent.

Though he has struggled this season, DFS players can't discount his career numbers and individual skill. Possibly the most talented scorer available on Wednesday's slate, Stamkos has a matchup against a team he has dominated in the past.
