Here are the winger value rankings for Saturday, December 12:
Top Options
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Rick Nash (NYR) | at CGY | 10 |
| Mike Hoffman (OTT) | at MTL | 9 |
| Mark Stone (OTT) | at MTL | 9 |
| Alexander Steen (STL) | vs. DAL | 8 |
| Max Pacioretty (MTL) | vs. OTT | 8 |
Nash has been very productive of late, scoring six goals and two assists in his last 10 games. Of the elite wingers, he clearly has the best match-up, going against the Flames' limp defense.
Hoffman and Stone face a tough Montreal defense, but their low salaries are ludicrous when compared to their production: a combined 14 goals and 10 assists in their last 10 games. In any case, Mike Condon hasn't been sharp lately, allowing three goals in each of his last three starts.

Best of the Rest
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Jamie Benn (DAL) | at STL | 7 |
| Zach Parise (MIN) | at SJ | 7 |
| Vladimir Tarasenko (STL) | vs. DAL | 6 |
| Mats Zuccarello (NYR) | at CGY | 6 |
| Patrick Marleau (SJ) | vs. MIN | 6 |
| Patrick Sharp (DAL) | at STL | 6 |
| Bobby Ryan (OTT) | at MTL | 6 |
| James Neal (NAS) | vs. COL | 6 |
| Evander Kane (BUF) | vs. LA | 5 |
| Tyler Toffoli (LA) | at BUF | 5 |
| Jeff Skinner (CAR) | at ARI | 5 |
| Scott Hartnell (CLB) | vs. NYI | 4 |
Benn is one of the most expensive wingers in DFS but has rewarded those who trust him with seven goals and seven assists in his last 10 games. Keep in mind that the Blues' Jake Allen is an above-average goaltender capable of shutting the door.
Marleau and Sharp are playing very well right now, but opportunity is an issue as neither is currently playing with their team's first line. Still, their role on key power-play units gives them exposure to their respective team's best forwards.

Nothing to See Here
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Alex Ovechkin (WAS) | at TB | 3 |
| Nikita Kucherov (TB) | vs. WAS | 3 |
| Johnny Gaudreau (CGY) | vs. NYR | 2 |
| Gabriel Landeskog (COL) | at NAS | 2 |
For Ovechkin's price, you'd like him to have an easier chance of scoring than going against the red-hot Ben Bishop in Tampa. Gaudreau's task isn't much easier, taking on Henrik Lundqvist. Landeskog has formed a great scoring line with Nathan MacKinnon and Matt Duchene, but he has been injured and will have to solve Pekka Rinne if he hopes to return value.
