Here are the goalie value rankings for Saturday, December 12:

Value Rankings

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Henrik Lundqvist (NYR) at CGY 9
Jaroslav Halak (NYI) at CLB 8
Braden Holtby (WAS) at TB 8

The best goalie in the league is also the surest thing on a packed slate. Lundqvist on his own is favored in any goalie match-up, even in the second game of a back-to-back on the road.

The Rangers are a top-10 offense that provide enough goal support for King Henrik to notch a win when he isn't at his sharpest, and against a Flames squad that allows the most goals per game and is bottom-15 in scoring, you can pretty much lock in Lundqvist's win.

Best of the Rest

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Ben Bishop (TB) vs. WAS 7
Jonathan Quick (LA) at BUF 7
Pekka Rinne (NAS) vs. COL 6
Kari Lehtonen (DAL) at STL 6
Mike Condon (MTL) vs. OTT 5
Linus Ullmark (BUF) vs. LA 5
Semyon Varlamov (COL) at NAS 5
Darcy Kuemper (MIN) at SJ 5
Martin Jones (SJ) vs. MIN 4
Mike Smith (ARI) vs. CAR 4

No netminder has been as hot over the last couple of weeks as the Lightning's Bishop. In his last nine starts, Bishop has a 7-1-1 record with a 1.57 GAA. The only question is whether he'll have enough on Saturday to quell the Capitals and their top-5 offense.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Jake Allen (STL) vs. DAL 4
Craig Anderson (OTT) at MTL 2
Curtis McElhinney (CLB) vs. NYI 2
Cam Ward (CAR) at ARI 2
Karri Ramo (CGY) vs. NYR 1

Clearly the deck is stacked against Ramo, who has also been dealing with health issues. Anderson receives a lot of goal support from the Sens' offense but he has trouble keeping the puck out of his own net; a win is definitely in play but it might be of the 4-3 variety - not great for DFS purposes.
