A second straight loss to "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship was enough to push Roman Reigns over the edge at WWE TLC.

The former Shield enforcer failed to regain the title - which was unceremoniously taken from him last month at Survivor Series - in a tables, ladders, and chairs match Sunday at Boston's TD Garden.

It took some major assistance from fellow League of Nations members Rusev and United States Champion Alberto Del Rio, but Sheamus was the one holding the gold high above his head in victory when it was all said and done.

Clearly fuming as a result of the outcome, Reigns made sure to leave a mark on those who had just wronged him, attacking the trio with a brutal triple spear:

Then, WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H appeared at ringside in an attempt to calm Reigns down, but it was to no avail, as the 30-year-old Samoan brute proceeded to take out his built up aggression on "The Cerebral Assassin."

A barbaric attack with a steel chair, a powerbomb on the Spanish announce table, and a running elbow drop to drive Triple H's prone body through the table was enough to dismantle the former 13-time World Champion.

With Triple H's wife, Stephanie McMahon, staring him down, Reigns walked out of the arena knowing that punishment of epic proportions may soon be heading his way:
