South American football's governing body is under the spotlight once again.
On Thursday, more than one month after the U.S. Department of Justice indicted nine CONMEBOL officials, Paraguayan authorities raided the confederation's offices in Asuncion, Paraguay as part of the investigation into the corruption scandal engulfing FIFA.
In December, the U.S. Department of Justice indicted 16 additional FIFA officials on charges of racketeering conspiracy and corruption, among other offenses - nine of whom were current or former members of CONMEBOL.
