Here are theScore's goaltender value rankings for Thursday, January 14:
Top Options
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Braden Holtby (WAS) | vs. VAN | 10 |
| Cam Ward (CAR) | at STL | 9 |
| Louis Domingue (ARI) | vs. DET | 8 |
| Connor Hellebuyck (WPG) | vs. NAS | 8 |
The Capitals are coming off a four-game win-streak and though the Canucks have a solid 6-2-2 record in their last 10, Holtby has been the best goalie in the league this season. It's unlikely that Vancouver's paltry 2.37 goals per game will be able to steal a road win from the Vezina front-runner.
Ward is a sneaky low-ownership play. Most DFS players have given up on the barren wasteland in Carolina but Ward has a solid 5-3-1 record and 2.03 GAA in his last 10 starts and St. Louis' offense is in free-fall.
Best of the Rest
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Corey Crawford (CHI) | at MTL | 7 |
| Martin Jones (SJ) | vs. EDM | 7 |
| Petr Mrzaek (DET) | at ARI | 6 |
| Brian Elliot (STL) | vs. CAR | 6 |
| Jaroslav Halak (NYI) | vs. NYR | 5 |
| Henrik Lundqvist (NYR) | at NYI | 5 |
| Cory Schneider (NJ) | at COL | 4 |
Crawford has given up an uncharacteristic 3.13 GAA in his 14 road games this season. Still, Crawford has won six straight games, including tough road games in Arizona and Pittsburgh. He has an advantage over projected Habs goalie Mike Condon.

Nothing to See Here
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Pekka Rinne (NAS) | at WPG | 3 |
| Calvin Pickard (COL) | vs. NJ | 3 |
| Mike Condon (MTL) | vs. CHI | 2 |
| Cam Talbot (EDM) | at SJ | 2 |
| Ryan Miller (VAN) | at WAS | 1 |
Cross-country, on the road, against the league's second-best offense and a team that has a 8-1-1 record in their last 10 games - these probably aren't the conditions in which you want to take a shot on Miller, who has missed the past three weeks with injuries.
