Here are the top sleeper picks at each position for Monday's five-game slate:

C/W Alex Burmistrov, Jets (vs. Avalanche)

Burmistrov has gone without a point in six consecutive games, and he has just three points - two goals and an assist - over his past 10 outings. He's registered at least one shot on goal in all but two games, topping out at five SOG on New Year's Eve in Arizona.

As the Jets battle some injuries to their offensive corps, Burmistrov has been moved up the second line, alongside W Andrew Ladd and C Adam Lowry. He's played at least 16 minutes in each of his past four games.

Colorado has a team save percentage of just .902 at 5v5 in January.

W Curtis Lazar, Senators (at Sharks)

Lazar is averaging just 13.3 minutes of ice time per game for the season, but he has exceeded that average in each of his past four games and five of his past six. He skates on the third line at 5v5, with C Jean-Gabriel Pageau and W Alex Chiasson. He plays on the second power-play unit with C Kyle Turris, and W Mike Hoffman manning one of the points.

Lazar has tallied points in back-to-back for the the third time this season, recently snapping a 26-game goalless drought. He has five SOG over his past two games, and he even blocked three shots in his most recent outing. It's been a disappointing year following a strong rookie campaign, but Lazar's starting to trend in the right direction.

D Cody Ceci, Senators (at Sharks)

Ceci is a member of that second Senators power-play unit with Lazar. The Sharks have allowed four goals while shorthanded in seven games since Jan. 1, and their Corsi For Percentage of 5.2% in those situations is better than just three teams over that stretch.

Ceci logged 20:57 of ice time in his most recent game - his third-highest total of the season. He picked up an assist against the Los Angeles Kings for his first point since Dec. 18.
