Counterattack - Monday's Top Contrarian Plays
Here are the best low-ownership plays for Monday's six-game slate:
C Tyler Seguin, Stars (vs. Flames)
The Stars' top line is suffering from Goldilocks syndrome - Patrick Sharp is hot and Jamie Benn is warm, but Tyler Seguin is ice-cold. With Seguin's big start to the season pushing his DFS pricing to new levels, not many owners will invest in a player who has two goals and an assist in his last 10 games.
Here are the reasons for optimism that Seguin can return value despite his luxury price point: his 3.2 shots per game in his last 10 games are not indicative of a player who has become passive on offense, and the Flames are the Flames and give up 3.04 goals per game.

RW Kyle Okposo, Islanders (vs. Red Wings)
Petr Mrazek is the hottest goalie in the league right now with 1.47 GAA and a .948 save percentage in his last 10 appearances. Meanwhile, Okposo might be the hottest skater in the league when taking his mid-tier salary into consideration.
With four goals and five assists in his last nine games - not to mention nearly four shots a night - the eighth-year Islanders winger has his team in the middle of the playoff race in a tough Metropolitan Division.

D Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Coyotes (at Wild)
If Devan Dubnyk plays for the Wild, Ekman-Larsson's ownership should dry up; the Minnesota goalie has been effective at neutralizing goal opportunities from blueliners.
Of course, Ekman-Larsson isn't your average defender. The young Coyote plays more like a forward and his stats match his role as one of the team's chief playmakers. With four goals, four assists and 41 shots in his last 10 games, he combines the right combination of floor and ceiling to make him an inspired play, even against difficult goaltending.

G Henrik Lundqvist, Rangers (vs. Sabres)
There are few obvious contrarians to consider at goalie on Monday. The best bet is that some people will be scared away from King Henrik because of his position-leading salary.
Those people would be wrong to do so. Lundqvist has allowed more than two goals in just two of his last 10 starts, a stretch in which he is 6-3-1. Despite the promise of youth, the Sabres score the second-fewest goals per game. Pay up for Lundqvist.
