Here are theScore's power forward value rankings for Wednesday, January 27:

Top Options
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Tristan Thompson (CLE) | vs. PHX | 10 |
| Draymond Green (GS) | vs. DAL | 9 |
| Paul Millsap (ATL) | vs. LAC | 9 |
| Nerlens Noel (PHI) | at DET | 9 |
| Ersan Ilyasova (DET) | vs. PHI | 9 |
Thompson dazzled in his return to a starting role Monday, posting 19 points, 12 rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes. His price has already started to rise - a trend that will continue - so get him while he's still cheap.
Look for Green to make quick work of the depleted Mavericks frontcourt. He should return value regardless of minutes played.
Best of the Rest
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Kevin Love (CLE) | vs. PHX | 8 |
| Marvin Williams (CHA) | at UTA | 7 |
| Derrick Favors (UTA) | vs. CHA | 7 |
| David West (SA) | vs. HOU | 6 |
| Dirk Nowitzki (DAL) | at GS | 6 |
| Serge Ibaka (OKC) | at MIN | 6 |
Love has combined for just 25 points and 11 rebounds in his past two games, causing another slight price drop. He's become a contrarian option, but a matchup against the defensively-inept Suns should bring about a return to form.
Favors had a productive night in his return to the court, posting 14 points and five rebounds off the bench. A potential return to the starting lineup would allow him to return value.
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| LaMarcus Aldridge (SA) | vs. HOU | 5 |
| Josh Smith (HOU) | at SA | 5 |
| Anthony Tolliver (DET) | vs. PHI | 5 |
| Kenneth Faried (DEN) | at BOS | 4 |
| Richaun Holmes (PHI) | at DET | 4 |
Aldridge went just 2-for-9 from the field in Monday's blowout loss, finishing with five points and three rebounds in 25 minutes. Wednesday's matchup projects to be much more favorable, but he's difficult to trust at his current price.
Holmes played 16 minutes Sunday, finishing with four points, seven rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal. He's played between 12 and 27 minutes in each of his past four games, and he's one of the newest flavors of the week emerging from the 76ers carousel of fantasy value.
Nothing to See Here
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Amir Johnson (BOS) | vs. DEN | 3 |
| Darrell Arthur (DEN) | at BOS | 3 |
| Clint Capela (HOU) | at SA | 3 |
| Trey Lyles (UTA) | vs. CHA | 2 |
| Markieff Morris (PHX) | at CLE | 2 |
The return of Favors should all but doom Lyles' fantasy relevance. Morris has produced some quality games of late, but he's extremely unreliable and also dealing with an injury.
