Brewers to revive classic 'ball and glove' logo
Milwaukee Brewers
The Milwaukee Brewers are bringing back a look from their most successful years.
Milwaukee announced Tuesday the classic "ball and glove" logo from its 1982 pennant-winning season will be incorporated into the new alternative uniforms for 2016.
Milwaukee, led by Hall of Famer Robin Yount, played some of its best baseball back in 1982, when the then-American League East club went 95-67 en route to the franchise's only World Series appearance.
The alternate uniforms, an eye-pleasing mix of old and new, will be worn on most Sundays next season and are available for purchase as early as Jan. 31.
