Twitter reacts to Guardiola's hiring as Manchester City manager
Manchester City confirmed the worst-kept secret in football Monday with the announcement of Pep Guardiola as its manager for the next three seasons.
News of the Spaniard's departure from Bayern Munich broke in December, and he later disclosed he had chosen the Premier League as his desired destination.
Replacing Manuel Pellegrini became a forgone conclusion, but the sheer magnitude of the move - on the transfer deadline, no less - brought out the best of Twitter.
The reality
Can't imagine a greater incentive to play out of your skin than knowing Pep Guardiola might be your manager next season.
Watch City fly.
