Dynamic Duos: Koivu and Coyle to Run Wild in Calgary

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Here are the top teammate pairings for Wednesday's three-game slate.

C Mikko Koivu and W/C Charlie Coyle, Wild (at Flames)

The mid-priced duo have been solid performers of late; Koivu has three points and 10 shots in his last four games, while Coyle has six goals in his last 10 contests. The third member of the line, premium-priced Zach Parise, hasn't been outproducing either Koivu or Coyle of late, and isn't worth his elevated DFS salary.

The Flames can score, but have had trouble keeping the puck out of their net of late - Calgary has conceded 18 goals over its last four games. Minnesota broke out of an extended slump with a 5-2 win over Vancouver on Monday, and will look to continue its momentum under new coach John Torchetti.

W Mats Zuccarello and C Derek Stepan, Rangers (vs. Blackhawks)

Having to adjust without the injured Rick Nash (leg), New York's reconfigured top line has found a groove, with Zuccarello and Stepan combining for 17 points in the last 10 games.

Stepan has three goals, an assist and 10 shots over his last two games, while Zuccarello chipped in a goal and three assists in that span. An encounter with the defensively-stout Blackhawks isn't ideal, but expected Chicago starter Corey Crawford has given up at least three goals in three of his last five appearances, and the duo sees first power play unit time in addition to their regular top-line role.

C Lars Eller and W Sven Andrighetto, Canadiens (at Avalanche)

Eller will fill in for the injured David Desharnais on Montreal's top line alongside Max Pacioretty and Andrighetto. Pacioretty's ability is undeniable, but his recent production (just three points in the last 10 games) and the fact that Eller and Andrighetto's combined DFS salaries equal less than the cost of Pacioretty alone make the American tough to recommend.

Andrighetto has had at least two shots in each of his last five games, and scored twice against Buffalo on Friday. Eller has only two points in his last five games, but did register 16 shots in that span, and gets to move up the pecking order in terms of line placement.

Colorado allows the third-most shots and the eighth-most goals per game, and it won't take much for the bargain-priced pair to return value, especially if Pacioretty is sparked by their presence.
