NHL Waiver Watch: Sunday Edition
Here's a look at the top current waiver wire additions in fantasy hockey:
C/LW Brayden Schenn, Flyers
His ownership percentage continues to climb with each multi-point game he records.
Schenn has been hot all February, scoring 10 points in 11 games - with six of those points coming within his last four games. During his current hot-streak, Schenn has managed to collect six shots and five hits, adding value if your league counts those secondary statistics.
He has a handful of favorable matchups on the horizon, with three of the four teams registering a subpar goals against average.
LW/RW Anthony Duclair, Coyotes
The Coyotes' first-line of Max Domi, Martin Hanzal and Duclair is red-hot, with Duclair, being the less-owned of the bunch.
Duclair has five points in his last three games, which included back-to-back multi-point nights against the elite defenses of the Blues and Stars. He also skates on the teams first power-play unit with Domi and Hanzal, which adds to his already immense value.
Though a daunting five-game Eastern Conference road trip awaits Duclair and the Coyotes, he's worth picking up due to his opportunity and production of 16 goals and 17 assists in 57 contests this season.
D Cam Fowler, Ducks
The Ducks' defenseman has flew under-the-radar this past week, dishing out six assists over a four-game span.
He started the season off slow, recording just three points in 15 games. He continued that trend up until the all-star break, but as the Ducks have rose towards the top of the hockey world, so has Fowler's fantasy value.
He's a great fantasy pick up in rotisserie leagues, but he doesn't sacrifice his body as much as other defenseman, which makes him less valuable in head-to-head leagues with hits and blocks. Nonetheless, he's one of the best defenseman that's available in the majority of leagues.
