Dynamic Duos - Roll the Triplets to GPP Success

Kim Klement / Reuters

Here are the top teammate plays for Sunday, January 21:

RW Nikita Kucherov, C Tyler Johnson & LW Ondrej Palat, Lightning (at Hurricanes)

The Lightning were scoring efficiently on Saturday afternoon against the Penguins, burying four goals on 20 shots; with the renowned 'triplet line' adding one of their own.

The Hurricanes have improved drastically on defense since the beginning of the season, which will likely lead to DFSers fading one, or all three of Tampa Bay's rising stars.

Carolina's second-line will struggle to contain Kucherov and his linemates, who have totaled four points between the three of them in just one game against Carolina this season. Roll them with confidence.

C Ryan Getzlaf and W David Perron, Ducks (vs. Flames)

Despite being separated from long-time line-mate Corey Perry, Getzlaf is enjoying a seven-game point-streak, totaling 12 points - nine of which are assists.

During the same seven games with Getzlaf, Perron - the Ducks' newly acquired winger - has benefited from his captain's recent tear, scoring three goals and dishing out three assists of his own.

The duo come at a very affordable cost and must be rolled against the Flames underachieving defense and former Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller, who owns a 3.20 goals against average and .889 save percentage in 21 games played this season.

C/LW Mikhail Grigorenko and RW Jarome Iginla, Avalanche (at Canucks)

Though Grigorenko failed to find the score sheet on Saturday night against the Oilers, he recorded one assist in the three games prior while playing alongside C Matt Duchene. Like Grigorenko, Iginla has found success skating on the first-line, dishing out two assists and sniping two goals in his last three games.

The duo come at an economical cost and allow DFSers to pay-up for other players on a slate with only four games. Trust their recent point-streaks will lead to success in all formats against the abysmal Canucks defense.
