Shane McMahon-Undertaker Hell in a Cell match confirmed for WrestleMania 32

In a shocking announcement made on "Monday Night Raw," a Hell in a Cell match has been confirmed for WrestleMania 32 on April 3, featuring two of the most unlikely opponents you'll ever see.

Shane McMahon, the son of WWE chairman Vince McMahon, will go one-on-one with The Undertaker inside the demonic structure at AT&T Stadium. If Shane emerges victorious, he will gain control of "Raw," but should he fall, Vince will get access to his lockbox, which apparently holds unknown valuables and secrets.

It's been six years since the WWE Universe has seen the young McMahon, who has been taking part in outside business ventures unrelated to professional wrestling.

He made his presence felt in a big way at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit Monday, interrupting an in-ring ceremony where his sister, Stephanie McMahon, was set to receive the first-ever Legacy of Excellence reward.

Shane made sure to point out that he was ahead of Stephanie in the pecking order of who would ultimately take over World Wrestling Entertainment in the future, if only because he made arrangements with his father in the past which bailed him out of certain jams.

Letting it be known that Vince and Stephanie were killing the company from within with poor ratings, sinking stock, and a slew of injures to talent, Shane revealed that he had returned to take over "Raw."

Vince responded by issuing Shane a challenge, with the match at WrestleMania 32 being the only way "Raw" would ever be handed over to him.

There have been 32 Hell in a Cell matches in WWE history, with the most recent one coming last October at the "Hell in a Cell" pay-per-view, when Brock Lesnar defeated Undertaker.

In fact, "The Phenom" holds the distinction of having wrestled in the most Hell in a Cell matches at 13, winning seven.
