Here are theScore's point guard value rankings for Wednesday's 10-game slate:
Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C
Top Options
| Name | Opponent | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Russell Westbrook (OKC) | at DAL | 10 |
| Chris Paul (LAC) | vs. DEN | 9 |
| Kyle Lowry (TOR) | vs. MIN | 9 |
| Reggie Jackson (DET) | vs. PHI | 9 |
| D'Angelo Russell (LAL) | at MEM | 9 |
There are few matchups where it's worth fading Westbrook and Wednesday's game isn't of those occurrences. He'll look to end a triple-double drought that dates back to February 3. Paul returned from injury to torch the Phoenix Suns in just 27 minutes last time out, and he'll have a chance for a repeat in another great matchup.
Lowry and Jackson have excellent home matchups. Russell will receive a second consecutive start at shooting guard, while still being priced as a backup.
Best of the Rest
| Name | Opponent | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Stephen Curry (GS) | at MIA | 8 |
| John Wall (WAS) | at CHI | 8 |
| Patty Mills (SA) | at SAC | 8 |
| Derrick Rose (CHI) | vs. WAS | 7 |
| Kyrie Irving (CLE) | vs. CHA | 7 |
Curry easily returned value in a seemingly tough matchup against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, but he'll have another tough road matchup Wednesday. It will be Golden State's fifth straight road game, with fatigue possibly setting in. Mills has scored 15-plus points in three of his past four games, and he's easily returning value. He should continue playing increased minutes, boding well for his fantasy production.
| Name | Opponent | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Mario Chalmers (MEM) | vs. LAL | 6 |
| Emmanuel Mudiay (DEN) | at LAC | 6 |
| Deron Williams (DAL) | vs. OKC | 6 |
| Jeremy Lin (CHA) | at CLE | 6 |
| Mike Conley (MEM) | vs. LAL | 6 |
Chalmers' usage rate has gone up without C Marc Gasol in the lineup, as he attempted 15 field goals his last time out. He also went 6-for-7 from the free-throw line. He's a better target than Conley due to a lower price.
Lin attempted 10 field goals in 31 minutes last time out, scoring 11 points and contributing in every fantasy category.
| Name | Opponent | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Goran Dragic (MIA) | vs. GS | 5 |
| J.J. Barea (DAL) | vs. OKC | 5 |
| George Hill (IND) | vs. NY | 4 |
| Rajon Rondo (SAC) | vs. SA | 4 |
| Tony Parker (SA) | at SAC | 4 |
Dragic has scored 24 points in back-to-back outings, totaling 15 rebounds and 13 assists in those games. He took a total of 37 field-goal attempts, capitalizing on extra usage with PF Chris Bosh out of the lineup.
Nothing to See Here
| Name | Opponent | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Kemba Walker (CHA) | at CLE | 3 |
| Ricky Rubio (MIN) | at TOR | 3 |
| Darren Collison (SAC) | vs. SA | 2 |
| Jordan Clarkson (LAL) | at MEM | 2 |
| Ish Smith (PHI) | at DET | 2 |
Walker has totaled just 10 assists in his past three games, though he has scored at least 25 points in each. Rubio nearly had a triple-double against the Raptors prior to the All-Star break, but he's totaled just 29 points in three games since.
