Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Brent Burns (SJ) at EDM 9
Erik Karlsson (OTT) at CAR 8
Marc-Edouard Vlasic (SJ) at EDM 8
Alex Goligoski (DAL) at MON 8

Burns is the most expensive defenseman on the market, but he's also the most reliable. Heading into Monday night, Burns had recorded three goals, three assists, three blocks and 18 shots in his last three games.

Goligoski has played a more prominent role with John Klingberg banged up. He has five points in his last four contests, while blocking seven shots, taking seven shots and logging at least 23 minutes of ice-time.

Best of the Rest

Shea Weber (NAS) at WPG 7
Andrei Markov (MON) vs. DAL 7

Andrej Sekera (EDM) vs. SJ 6
P.K. Subban (MON) vs. DAL 6
Keith Yandle (NYR) at BUF 6
Tyler Myers (WPG) vs. NAS 6

With two goals and three assists in his last three games, Weber is the Predator defenseman to own Tuesday. Josi's floor is much higher thanks to his shot totals and blocked shot totals, but he doesn't have the cannon of a shot that Weber possesses.

Markov has nine points in as many games and is much cheaper than Subban. In addition, Dallas is much better at putting pucks in the net than keeping them out.

Leddy's floor is very low thanks to his dismal shot totals, but he has plenty of upside thanks to his remarkable skating ability and strong puck-moving skills. He has eight points in his last 10 games.
