Counterattack - Deck the Hall With Tavares and Panarin
Here are the top contrarian plays for Monday, March 14:
W Taylor Hall, Oilers (vs. Predators)
The Oilers are yet again among the bottom feeders of the NHL, and are well on their way to yet another top-3 pick in the NHL Entry draft this June.
Hall, however, has been a fantasy revelation for Edmonton, registering 57 points while not missing a game in the process. With goalie Pekka Rinne sporting an abysmal .908 save percentage, Hall could be in for a multi-point night, which would instantly return value.
Despite Hall not recording a point in his past three games, he's taken a whopping 11 shots on net. The goals will surely come alongside rookie phenom Connor McDavid, so invest in him while others won't.

C John Tavares, Islanders (vs. Panthers)
With points in his past four games, Tavares has hovered just below returning his price point, which will result in DFSers looking elsewhere when the Panthers' top-10 defense rolls into town.
Don't overlook Tavares; he's more than capable of a multi-point night and though he's failed to find the scoresheet against Florida in two games this season, his high floor is tough to ignore. Roster him with the confidence he gets the job done at home.

W Artemi Panarin, Blackhawks (vs. Kings)
Panarin has been a fantasy treasure this season, rewarding fantasy owners everywhere with 25 goals and 37 assists while skating on the opposite wing of fantasy juggernaut Patrick Kane.
Going up against Kings netminder Jonathan Quick and the best defense in hockey doesn't bode well for any of the Blackhawks' forwards. But Panarin has multi-point potential - and that, combined with a low-ownership percentage, is a recipe for GPP success.
