Here are theScore's shooting guard value rankings for Friday, March 25:

Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C

Top Options

Name Opponent Value
Klay Thompson (GS) vs. DAL 8
James Harden (HOU) vs. TOR 8
Devin Booker (PHX) at SAC 8

Thompson is coming off a 32-point performance against the Clippers where he splashed seven of 10 3-pointers. In combination with his previous game, Thompson has now hit 12 of his last 15 deep balls. While Dallas limits opponents to 34.2% from long-range, Thompson has to be considered thanks to his recent hot streak.

Is James Harden playing defense? The Rockets guard had eight steals against Utah on Wednesday giving him 12 total steals in his past two games. Temporary defense aside, Harden has registered double-doubles in three of his last four games, building averages of 25.3 points, 10.7 assists, and 6.2 rebounds through his last six outings.

Best of the Rest

Name Opponent Value
DeMar DeRozan (TOR) at HOU 7
Andrew Wiggins (MIN) at WAS 7
Darrun Hilliard (DET) vs. CHA 7
Will Barton (DEN) at LAL 7
Nicolas Batum (CHA) at DET 6
Josh Richardson (MIA) vs. ORL 6
Bradley Beal (WAS) vs. MIN 6
Lou Williams (LAL) vs. DEN 6
Dwyane Wade (MIA) vs. ORL 6
Zach LaVine (MIN) at WAS 6

Hilliard started for the sick Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Wednesday and posted 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists. The 38th-overall pick out of Villanova in 2015 should be expected to start again Friday with Caldwell-Pope likely out once again. His near-basement price makes it easy to return great value considering he should play over 25 minutes.

Richardson has been a common value play in recent weeks. However, he does come with some volatility as the rookie guard has scored between six and 22 points through his last ten games.

Name Opponent Value
Khris Middleton (MIL) at ATL 5
Gary Harris (DEN) at LAL 5
Raymond Felton (DAL) at GS 5
Kyle Korver (ATL) vs. MIL 5

Middleton is a decent cash-game option thanks to his scoring ability. But with a a tough opponent in Atlanta and having scored over 20 points in only two of his last ten games, Middleton should be approached cautiously Friday.

Nothing to See Here

Name Opponent Value
Evan Fournier (ORL) at MIA 4
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (DET) vs. CHA 3

As mentioned, Caldwell-Pope is likely to miss Friday due to sickness.
