With WrestleMania taking place Sunday, theScore is celebrating the WWE's annual marquee event throughout the week with an in-depth look. Here we take a look at some of our favorite matches, moments, and celebrity involvement during the history of WWE's biggest show.

What is your all-time favorite WrestleMania match?

"Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat at WrestleMania III

Bryan Mcwilliam: This matchup between Steamboat and Savage for the Intercontinental Championship in front of over 90,000 screaming fans at WrestleMania III will forever stand the test of time as one of the greatest matches to grace the squared circle.

The showdown of the ultimate babyface - Steamboat - against a brilliant heel - Savage - became an instant classic thanks to a mix of incredible prematch promos, great ring entrances, terrific announcing from Gorilla Monsoon (who sided with Steamboat) and Jesse "The Body" Ventura (who backed Savage), and textbook in-ring work that had ups, down, highs, lows, and a triumphant title win for Steamboat.

This is how a storyline should be done, and these two Hall of Famers did it better than anyone else has been able to do.

Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXI

Chris Walder: In terms of in-ring ability, it doesn't get any better than Angle and Michaels. When they squared off at WrestleMania XXI, it was a dream encounter between two superstars who were incapable of putting on a bad performance. The look on Angle's face when his finisher from the top rope didn't garner the result he desired helped establish the story of just how badly he wanted to be known as the best in the business.

Say what you will about the ins and outs of professional wrestling and finishes being predetermined, but with Angle and Michaels, they made the audience feel that a victory on that night was the most important thing in the world.

Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels Ladder Match at WrestleMania X

Mike Dickson: It's 22 years later, and this is still the ladder match all other ladder matches are measured against, and frankly, all others come up short. Ramon's Intercontinental title victory over Michaels at Madison Square Garden proved "The Bad Guy" was the undisputed champ, but it also featured some of the most outrageous spots the wrestling world had seen at the time.

Match of the year accolades poured in as the show put on by Ramon and Michaels didn't go unnoticed, making ladder matches a WWE staple for years to come. It was a ground-breaking match that would help pave the way for the Attitude Era and the more extreme characteristics the WWE would take on in the coming years.

What is your all-time favorite WrestleMania moment?

Brock Lesnar ends The Undertaker's streak at Wrestlemania XXX

Dickson: The face above says it all. This was one of the most - if not the most - shocking moments in WrestleMania history. Entering with a 21-0 record at WWE's marquee event, The Undertaker's streak was a thing of legend, a mythical number that had taken on epic proportions following four straight years of WrestleMania slobberknockers with Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Then came Lesnar, and suddenly it was 21-1.

A stunned audience had no idea how to react. While everyone knew Lesnar was a monster, no one really and truly expected The Streak to come to an end that night. It was one of the biggest pieces of the WWE marketing machine and - poof - just like that it was gone. The win cemented Lesnar's place as the dominant force in wrestling, and would lead to one of the most impressive runs in recent memory, with Lesnar wreaking havoc on the WWE including the utter destruction of John Cena at SummerSlam.

Hulk Hogan slams Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III

Mcwilliam: In the immortal words of Gorilla Monsoon, "The Unstoppable Force versus The Immovable Object."

In a battle for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania III, the "Real American" Hogan donned his famous yellow and red to take on onetime best friend Andre the Giant, and in doing so helped create one of the most talked about and remembered moments in wrestling history.

After Monsoon commented on the giant's 15-year undefeated streak, Hogan not only did the unthinkable by beating the French skyscraper, he sent the 90,000-plus in attendance at the Pontiac Silverdome into absolute pandemonium when he lifted and slammed the 520-pounder into the canvas.

To this day, not a single moment in wrestling history can capture what made Hogan a living legend on this memorable March night when he sent shockwaves through the wrestling world.

Daniel Bryan becomes World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XXX

Walder: Bryan becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion in New Orleans at WrestleMania XXX was the culmination of what seemed like a never-ending outcry by fans against the company for change. He was the hottest thing going for months on end, yet it always felt as if management was reluctant to hand him the ball and let him run with it.

Watching Bryan with fireworks behind him pump two titles in the air while a deafening “Yes!” chant filled the Mercedes-Benz Superdome was truly special, as it let the WWE Universe know that someone higher up was indeed listening. The fact it ultimately turned out to be one of Bryan's final matches just makes the moment all the more endearing.

What is your all-time favorite celebrity involvement in WrestleMania?

Pete Rose with Kane at WrestleMania XIV, XV, XVI

Walder: Rose will likely never grace the Baseball Hall of Fame, but at the very least, his showings at three straight WrestleManias earned him a spot in WWE's Hall of Fame, and rightfully so. He's one of the few deserving residents of the celebrity wing, stemming off his interactions with "The Big Red Machine" Kane, which were absolutely hysterical.

Watching MLB's all-time hits leader take a Tombstone Piledriver dressed up as the San Diego Chicken will never not be awesome.

"Battle of the Billionaires" with Donald Trump at WrestleMania XXIII

Dickson: Considering the ongoing presidential campaign, there doesn't seem to be a more obvious candidate to include than Trump. Politics aside, "The Donald" has been involved with the WWE on numerous occasions and was inducted into its Hall of Fame in 2013, but it was the part he played in WrestleMania XXIII that will be forever remembered by the WWE Universe.

Trump's representative, Bobby Lashley, defeated Vincent Kennedy McMahon's representative, Umaga - with the help of special guest referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - giving Trump the victory in the "Battle of the Billionaires." As a result, Trump got the honor of shaving McMahon's head, giving the world the pleasure of seeing a bald Mr. McMahon.

Mike Tyson knocks out Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIV

Mcwilliam: Tyson may have been the "The Baddest Man on the Planet" during his storied career atop the boxing world, but he became allies with the baddest SOB in wrestling the night of WrestleMania XIV, which eventually landed him a spot in the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame.

After weeks of buildup when it looked as if Tyson had sided with Michaels and Degeneration-X, Tyson shocked wrestling audiences everywhere when his three-count gave Austin the strap after a vicious Stone Cold Stunner on Michaels.

It was after the match, though, that Tyson's wrestling legacy was cemented when he laid out Michaels with a devastating right hand; an image that will forever live on in the minds of both wrestling and boxing fans.
