Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Billy Butler (OAK) vs. CWS 9
Adam Lind (SEA) at TEX 9
Joey Votto (CIN) vs. PHI 8
Mark Trumbo (BAL) vs. MIN 8

Butler has a career batting average of .357 in 42 at bats against Chris Sale. His price is very low after underachieving his first year in Oakland. He'll certainly have low ownership against one of the best pitchers in the game, making for a great tournament play.

It may be a tough lefty-lefty matchup, but Lind has exceptional career numbers against Cole Hamels, but his numbers at Globe Life Park in Arlington are even better. Lind is a career .331 hitter in Texas, with 12 homers in just 127 plate appearances. He makes for a great GPP option as most DFSers will fade him against the tough left-hander.

Best of the Rest

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Brandon Belt (SF) at MIL 7
Anthony Rizzo (CHC) at LAA 7
Chris Colabello (TOR) at TB 7
Paul Goldschmidt (ARI) vs. COL 6
Jose Abreu (CWS) at OAK 6
Edwin Encarnacion (TOR) at TB 6
Adrian Gonzalez (LAD) at SD 6
Logan Morrison (TB) vs. TOR 6
Joe Mauer (MIN) at BAL 5
Byung Ho Park (MIN) at BAL 5
Chris Davis (BAL) vs. MIN 5

Belt should be primed for a big year after leading the majors with a 28.7 line drive percentage in 2015. He hits in a prime RBI spot in a Giants' order that has crushed Wily Peralta in the past.

Davis is just 5-for-28 against Ervin Santana, but all five hits went for extra bases, including three long balls. He's a true boom-or-bust GPP candidate.

With zero major league at bats under his belt, Park is a true wildcard. Camden Yards is a great hitters park and Chris Tillman is coming off a shaky season. He's a intriguing tournament option.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Ryan Zimmerman (WAS) at ATL 4
Albert Pujols (LAA) vs. CHC 3
Freddie Freeman (ATL) vs. ATL 3

Chris Carter (MIL) vs. SF 2
Ryan Howard (PHI) at CIN 2

Prince Fielder (TEX) vs. SEA 2
Mitch Moreland (TEX) vs. SEA 2
Yonder Alonso (OAK) vs. CWS 1
Wil Myers (SD) vs. LAD 1

Fielder is a career 2-for-25 against Felix Hernandez and should be left alone.
