San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde said he's fully recovered from a foot injury that brought his season to a halt in December.
Hyde was placed on injured reserve due to a stress fracture in his left foot, finishing the season with 470 yards and three touchdowns in seven games.
The 24-year-old, who underwent surgery to repair the fracture, told reporters he's already in game shape.
"If we played tomorrow, I'd be ready to go," Hyde said, according to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez.
New 49ers head coach Chip Kelly plans to install his trademark high-octane offense, and Hyde has made it a point of emphasis to cut weight as a result. Hyde told reporters he's at 225 pounds after playing at 235 pounds last season.
Meanwhile, quarterback Colin Kaepernick is the subject of rampant trade speculation in San Francisco, with many believing he'll be shipped to the Denver Broncos in the near future. Despite the rumors, Hyde says the 49ers are approaching Kaepernick no differently than they did last year.
"We treat Kap the same way. He's part of the team now. He's in the big room with us. We treat him like a teammate," Hyde said.
