The Washington Redskins have signed cornerback Greg Toler, the team announced Wednesday.
Official terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that the veteran defensive back is joining the club on a one-year contract.
Toler started in 10 games for the Indianapolis Colts last season, recording 51 tackles and a forced fumble while lining up opposite Vontae Davis.
The 31-year-old missed the Colts' first four games due to a neck injury suffered during the preseason.
Toler will compete against Chris Culliver for the Redskins' starting right cornerback slot, with Bashaud Breeland locked in at left cornerback.
