Robert Nkemdiche wants to buy pet panther after he signs rookie contract

Like many prospects, Robert Nkemdiche plans to take care of his family with his first NFL paycheck. But he also wants a pet panther.
The Ole Miss defensive tackle and potential first-round pick discussed his love of panthers (the black ones, specifically) in a lengthy interview with ESPN's Seth Wickersham, who found the idea of owning a big cat insane.
"No, it's not. They're like cats," Nkemdiche said. "If someone comes over and is scared, I'll put the panther away."
The interview caught the attention of the Carolina Panthers, who couldn't resist responding:
