The Philadelphia Eagles shocked the NFL world by acquiring the second overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft from the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday, and naturally, there are some aggrieved parties.

Incumbent starting quarterback Sam Bradford is reportedly livid with the team's move, as Philadelphia is widely expected to select a quarterback - Jared Goff or Carson Wentz - with the second pick.

"He's hot," a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. "Who wouldn't be? This is Philly saying, 'We don't see (you) as long-term answer.' He's mad and wants to show everyone who's best."

Bradford signed a two-year, $36-million extension in March, ostensibly to remain the team's starting quarterback. He threw for 19 touchdowns against 14 interceptions in 2015.

Eagles executive vice president Howie Roseman reiterated after the completion of the trade that Bradford is the team's starter. However, after acquiring the second overall pick, it seems almost certain that the Eagles will draft a quarterback, and Bradford will face competition for his job this fall.
