The Cincinnati Bengals have selected defensive tackle Andrew Billings out of Baylor in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Billings had been projected to be drafted as high as the first round, but fell down the boards because teams feel he is only a two-down player.
The Bengals don't have a need at defensive tackle with Geno Atkins and Domata Peko as their starters, but Billings could be developed as an eventual replacement for the 31-year-old Peko at nose tackle.
The Baylor defensive lineman fits the Bengals' philosophy of drafting players based purely on talent and ignoring immediate needs.
