The Detroit Lions have selected running back Dwayne Washington out of Washington with their final pick in the seventh round (236th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Washington is known for his ability to make big plays, taking seven rushes for 50-plus yards.
A history of injuries and questions about Washington's ball security caused him to fall to the seventh round.
