The New England Patriots haven't been quiet about their disapproval of the league's decision to reinstate Tom Brady's four-game suspension this offseason.
No moment was louder than former Patriots running back Kevin Faulk's appearance at the NFL draft to announce his team's third-round pick.
Following the draft, Brady gave his former teammate a call to thank him for the support.
"Thank you for just showing the respect that we had for each other," Brady told the ex-running back, Faulk told the Toucher and Rich show. "That was all it (was). It wasn't (a) big, drawn-out deal, nothing like that. It was, 'Thank you.'"
Faulk played his entire 13-year career with the Patriots, spending all but one season alongside Brady.
