Working together has made Ryan brothers put on weight
Buffalo Bills' Rex and Rob Ryan are sharing the same sideline for the first time since 1995, when they coached together on their father's Arizona Cardinals staff.
While the twin brothers seem to be enjoying each other's company, the extra time together hasn't been great for their diets. Rob revealed to Jenny Vrentas of TheMMQB.com that he had lap band surgery to try to lose weight, but had to have the device removed due to complications.
"There could have been a major, major issue, so that's why he had to take that thing out," Rex said. "Isn't that crazy? Now, I have only put on 30 pounds since we hired Rob."
"And I have put on 24," Rob said.
Added Rex: "I was going to get his weight down to mine. No, no, my weight started going up to his. So that's really what happened there."
