Report: Leon Hall could make free-agency decision next week
Free-agent cornerback Leon Hall is expected to make a decision on where he will play in 2016 by next week, Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 reports.
The nine-year veteran, who visited the Arizona Cardinals in March, is being pursued by the team after offseason interest from the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins seems to have dried up.
Cardinals veterans Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald were impressed with Hall's play after they played the Cincinnati Bengals last season, keeping him on Arizona's radar throughout the offseason, Jurecki reports.
Hall has also drawn interest from the New York Giants, but they appear set with Janoris Jenkins, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and Eli Apple, for now.
The 31-year-old is coming off back surgery, and as a legitimate option to start at slot corner on any team, can afford to bide his time heading into training camps.
If he does decide to sign with the Cardinals, he would bolster one of the league's best secondaries alongside Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu.
