Former Colts running back Zurlon Tipton dies after accidental shooting

Former Indianapolis Colts running back Zurlon Tipton was killed on Tuesday after a gun in his car was accidentally fired, the team confirmed.
Tipton was 26.
The incident occurred at a car dealership in Roseville, Mich., according to WJBK, where Tipton was wounded in the stomach while removing a duffel bag containing two firearms from his trunk.
An undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan, Tipton played parts of two seasons with the Colts, racking up 15 rushes and one receiving touchdown over that span. He also carried the ball 18 times for 68 yards and a touchdown in three playoffs games.
