The Buffalo Bills have signed free-agent running back Reggie Bush to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the contract will be an incentive-laden deal.

Bush visited with the Bills on Monday, and the club opted to ink him to the deal after he passed a physical.

He'll likely practice with the team tomorrow, notes Rapoport.

Bush tore his ACL last season with the San Francisco 49ers, and has been unable to play a full 16-game schedule since the 2012 season.

The 31-year-old should battle for snaps behind starter LeSean McCoy, and could carve out a role as a third-down back with Karlos Williams suspended for the first four games of the season.

General manager Doug Whaley told Vic Carucci of Buffalo News that the team views Bush mainly as a kick returner.
