Legendary Oakland Raiders quarterback Ken Stabler was posthumously inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, a moment that proved to be overwhelming for his family members.

Stabler's grandson burst into tears upon kissing the gold bust of his grandfather Saturday, in one of the most emotional moments of the evening.

Stabler was selected to the Pro Bowl four times, and captured NFL MVP honors in 1974. Nicknamed "Snake," Stabler helped the Raiders defeat the Minnesota Vikings 32-14 in Super Bowl XI.

"There's a snake in the Hall," Stabler's daughter Kendra said of her father's induction.

Stabler died at age 69 of colon cancer in July 2015.
