Report: Browns' Griffin filing for divorce

Robert Griffin III is in the process of filing for divorce ahead of his first season in Cleveland, according to Mark Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

The new Browns quarterback and wife Rebecca Liddicoat, who were married in July 2013, have reportedly been separated for several months. The couple had their first child in May 2015.

After landing with the Browns as a free agent this offseason, Griffin is stepping back into a starting job for the first time since his fall from grace with the Washington Redskins.

He completed 4-of-8 passes for 67 yards and one interception in Cleveland's preseason-opening loss to the Green Bay Packers last week.
