Raiders' DeAndre Washington: Slowed by Green Bay
Washington gained eight yards on five carries and lost one yard on his only reception (three targets) in Thursday's preseason loss to the Packers.
Analysis:
Coming off a strong showing in the preseason opener, Washington turned in a Thursday dud, along with the rest of the Oakland offense. He did only work as the No. 3 running back, entering the game after Latavius Murray and Taiwan Jones. However, Jones' current standing at No. 2 on the depth chart may largely be a product of seniority, as Washington has served as Latavius Murray's top backup throughout much of training camp. Washington is also in the mix for the punt return job.
