Chiefs' Charcandrick West: Won't take field Saturday

West won't take the field for Saturday's preseason game in Los Angeles, Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star reports.

Analysis:

West is considered day-to-day due to a mild sprain in his elbow, but his current level of health will push him to the sideline, where he'll join Jamaal Charles (knee). With the top-2 running backs on the depth chart out of commission, Spencer Ware, Knile Davis (shoulder), and Darrin Reaves will look to take advantage of respective bumps in touches.
