Chiefs' Spencer Ware: Leads Chiefs backfield against Bears

Ware rushed a team-leading nine times for 24 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason Week 3 win over the Bears.

Analysis:

Ware worked with the first-team offense, and has emerged as the top Chiefs running back in the absence of Jamaal Charles (knee) and Charcandrick West (back). He hasn't showed much improvement as a receiver, though, which is why the versatile Charles is still expected to take over the starting job once healthy.
