Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi will not play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, and will not travel with the team, due to a coach's decision.
Arian Foster was named the starting running back, and an unnamed Dolphins player told Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald that Ajayi was upset over the demotion.
The 23-year-old sophomore rushed for 187 yards and a touchdown on 49 carries during his rookie season.
Damien Williams and Kenyan Drake are expected to serve as Foster's backups during the season opener.
