Mark Ingram and the New Orleans Saints will face off with the New York Giants on Sunday, and his father - a Giants great - will be in attendance.
Mark Ingram Sr. played six seasons for New York in the late 1980s and early '90s, winning a Super Bowl in 1990.
Despite his prior allegiances, the elder Ingram will be in his son's corner Sunday.
"He's a Saints fan now," Ingram said with a laugh Friday. "He's always Big Blue, I grew up a Giants fan, too, but blood is everything. He's a Saints fan through and through right now."
Ingram Sr. spent the majority of his son's college career and the early portion of his pro career in jail. He was released in early 2015 after spending six years behind bars for money laundering, bank fraud, and skipping bail.
