Analysis:
Considering a walking boot encases everything below the knee, Abdullah's injury could be more extensive than a mere foot injury, which was the designation mentioned by the Lions for his absence. For now, though, his foot injury places a cloud over his Week 3 availability. An absence would place more of the backfield burden on Theo Riddick and rookie Dwayne Washington.
