Falcons' Weatherspoon ruptured Achilles vs. Panthers

Atlanta Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon told ESPN's Vaughn McClure that he ruptured his Achilles tendon during Sunday's 48-33 win over the Carolina Panthers.

No timetable for his return has been released, but it appears likely he'll miss the rest of the season.

Weatherspoon recorded four tackles prior to leaving the game.
