Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer cleared concussion protocol Tuesday and will return to practice Wednesday.
Palmer suffered the concussion on Oct. 2 in a 17-13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The veteran quarterback was widely expected to clear the protocol this week, in time for Monday's game against the New York Jets.
Drew Stanton started in Palmer's absence, guiding the team to a 33-21 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday.
Palmer has completed 58.8 percent of his passes for six touchdowns against five interceptions in four games this season.
